- Javea is situated approximately halfway between Valencia & Alicante on Spain's "white coast" known as the Costa Blanca. Protected by the "Montgo", a large mountain, against bad weather from northern directions. Javea has been officially classified by the World Health Authority as environmentally near perfect. Thus sophisticated Javea boasts a full 10 month season and is a golfer's paradise in the winter.
- Three kilometres from the sea is the old town, with its quaint narrow streets & Thursday market. The there is the port , a pretty area of shops & restaurants in its own right and finally the lovely sandy beach area of Arenal with its fine promenade, offering bars & restaurants to suit every taste and pocket.
- Three fine golf courses, tennis, horse riding, a disco or two & every type of watersport completes the picture.
- Transfer time from Alicante Airport is approximately 1 hour, from Valencia Airport approximately 1 hour & 15 minutes.
- Aqualandia - is a water park with lots of water rides & plenty to keep the kids amused! This is located in nearby Benidorm (approximately a 45 minute drive.
- Arenal Beach - the popular sandy Blue Flag Arenal beach is lined with a promenade full of bars, restaurants, stylish boutiques. The beach comes alive at night with market stalls selling many gifts & tourist souvenirs.
- Bull fighting - Bull fighting is a regular event held in the town of Ondara. It is probably exciting for "aficionados", but is not recommended for young children or the faint hearted.
- Denia - is a historic Spanish town which has become a modern cosmopolitan resort. Here can be found a selection of trendy restaurants, bars as well as shops. The town is overlooked by the old castle and is enclosed by the city walls. Denia has a long sandy beach which stretches for miles as well as a bust port which has ferries to & from Majorca , Menorca and Ibiza
- Mundomar - is an exotic animal park and marine which is suitable for all ages.
- Terra Mitica - is a recently constructed theme park in Benidorm. It has plenty of rides for all ages & is a fun day out for all the family.
- Horse riding - There are two horse riding stables in the Javea area; these are "Centro Hipico Javea" and "Escuela de Equitacion La Sella". Horse riding is a great way to explore the countryside.
- Market - Javea's weekly market is held on a Thursday in the Old Town. Many a good bargain can be found & is usually quite busy, so get there early.
- Old Town - The Old Town of Javea is quaint and traditional with local shops and small cafes and is great just to explore and to discover the history and architecture.
- Water sports - There are sailing schools and diving clubs to be found along the Costa Blanca & in Javea. Other activities include windsurfing, yachting & water Skiing.
- Golf - there are three golf courses in the Javea area
- Club de Golf Javea, Javea. A golf course with 9 holes situated on the Ctra Javea - Benitachell 4.5 km, close to the villa, with swimming pool & tennis courts in the grounds.
- Club de Golf La Sella, Jesus Pobre, a golf course with 9 holes situated on the Ctra. Jesus Pobre - La Xara, half way to Denia.
